Claude Monet (1840-1926)

170 years after his birth, Paris celebrates one of the major exponents of Impressionism by hosting the most important monographic exhibition dedicated to this artist in the last 30 years, held in cooperation with the National Museums Association and the Orsay Museum.
Claude Monet painted incessantly for over 60 years, giving life to works that embody the purest spirit of Impressionism and that today represent one of the pillars of modern art.
The National Galleries wish to relive his artistic production featuring 200 paintings in an exhibition that will surely surprise you, make you think, and please you as you experience the most famous works, minor paintings and art works paired up as never before.
