Events in Paris: detail
From March 18 2010 to March 21 2010
International Tourism Show - MAP 2010
MAP- Le Monde à Paris will become the world's largest tourism showcase from March 18 to 21, 2010.
Country weekends, cultural tours, discovering coastlines or new cities...visiting far away neigborhoods, long sandy beaches or driving up into the mountains...
From the gates of Paris to the antipodes, the show gives everyone the chance to create their own trip and chase after their dreams.
A special opportunity to discover the "designers" of the art of travel, from all the continents, in one place: French and foreign tourist offices, travel agencies, tour operators, cruise companies, etc.
But there's more: the space dedicated to children, with cave explorations for the more curious, rope adventures for beginning climbers and puzzle workshops for the more patient ones.
For adults, an exhibition will be set up with works by Clare et Reno Marca, two traveler spirits who detail their adventures with fine watercolors. Also: folkloric shows, the night opening on Thursday for night-owls, with a surprise show and many activities aimed at promoting responsible and respectful tourism.
To sum it all up: exhibitions, meetings with writers, handicrafts, tastings, unique shows and children's spaces. MAP 2010 does its show and previews colors, flavors and music from all over.
