Exposition "Retrospective Camille Claudel"
The exhibition will be held at the Rodin Museum of Parigi from April 15, to July 20, 2008 introducing a retrospective view of Camille Claudel.
The display exhibits the artist's essential works in a roundup of the main collections, whether public or private, to bring together an immeasurable amount of sculptures and designs of Claudel made in correspondence with Rodin, in addition to photographs of both artists. The works exhibited show the evident influence Rodin had on the French sculptress.
The exhibition displays famous works like "La Valse", "L'Âge mur", "La Vague" or "Les Causeuses" among the most notable, which will be open to the general public. The works of Claudel are characterized by their significance and by their solidity. Noteworthy care and expressiveness was given by the artists to her sculpture's hands, which bring to light Claudel's passion for this art form.

The Rodin Museum of Paris is open every day, except Monday, from 9:30 to 17:45.
